Last updated: April 28, 2026

Summary

KeySec is a free tool provided as-is. You're free to use it for any purpose. We're not responsible for how you use the output. Don't use it for illegal activities.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KeySec ("the Service"), available at keysec.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KeySec is a free, browser-based cryptographic toolkit that provides tools for:

  • Hashing (MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512, etc.)
  • Encoding and decoding (Base64, Hex, Binary, URL, etc.)
  • Encryption and decryption (AES, DES, etc.)
  • Data format conversion (JSON, XML, YAML, CSV, etc.)
  • Security analysis and testing tools
  • Developer utilities
  • And various other cryptographic and text processing operations

All processing is performed entirely within your web browser. No data is transmitted to any server.

3. Free Use

KeySec is provided free of charge. There are no premium tiers, subscriptions, or hidden fees. You may use the Service for personal, educational, or commercial purposes without restriction.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use KeySec:

  • For any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • To generate content intended to facilitate cyberattacks against systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test
  • To circumvent security controls in violation of applicable laws
  • In any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

Security testing tools (XSS payloads, SQL injection cheat sheets, reverse shell generators, etc.) are provided exclusively for authorized penetration testing, security research, and educational purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization before using these tools against any system.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Accuracy or correctness of cryptographic outputs
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Security of any specific cryptographic implementation

While we strive for accuracy, you should independently verify any cryptographic output before using it in security-critical applications. Do not rely solely on KeySec for production security operations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeySec and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or data corruption
  • Security breaches resulting from misuse or reliance on tool outputs
  • Financial losses arising from use of the Service
  • Any damages arising from unauthorized use of security testing tools

7. Intellectual Property

The KeySec brand, design, and original source code are the intellectual property of the creator. Outputs generated by the tools belong to you — we claim no ownership over any data you process.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
